Our Distinctiveness as a Church School

We were judged as outstanding for this area of the school in our last two SIAS Church School Inspections:

"Christian values underpin the school’s life and work. Children are supported very well, so that they start to understand Christian values and Anglican traditions, and “grow up in a Christian family. Children, parents and staff talk about the way these values influence how the children treat one another and behave, and how they underpin working relationships within the entire community. The school works very closely with the parish church."

"There are very strong links with the parish church and the wider community. Parents are extremely happy with the school and feel that it is inclusive, valuing and supporting all families equally. The children feel valued as individuals and cared for so that they can reach their potential and grow in confidence. The children enjoy coming to school and they make good progress. They can explain how the way everyone behaves and treats one another is based on Christian values and how prayer helps them in their everyday lives."
