I have had the privilege of being a governor at St George's for many years and I had previously worked as a teaching assistant at the school for over 20 years, gaining a real insight into the needs of an infant school, before retiring in 2013.
I have four grown up children, two of which attended St George's and five grandchildren; 4 out of 5 have attended or are attending the school.
I worship at St George's Church and I am a Foundation Governor (put forward by the church) so my focus is to ensure the school maintains a distinctive Christian character.
My interests are my family, traveling, very long walks, gardening, music (particularly Bryan Ferry!) and of course all that goes on at St George' School!
