Vivian Newall - Vice Chairman & Co-opted Governor
In my working life, I was an NHS Paediatric Community Physiotherapist in Bucks for over 25 years. I saw children from birth to school leaving age. As part of my job, I used to look after children who had physical problems, in mainstream schools and I visited almost every school in the area. Therefore, when I decided to work only part time and had time to become a school Governor, I had no problem in choosing a school. I am Vice Chair of Governors and among other roles, inclusion governor, taking an interest in children with special gifts or talents and children with special needs.
I spend a day a week in school as a volunteer and work with many of the children at some point during their time at St George' s CE Infant School. I am married to Ron. We have 2 daughters and 3 young Grandchildren. I am a very hands on Granny.
