I was appointed parent governor in December 2019. I have a son at St George’s and a daughter who is now at Woodside School after three very happy years at St George’s.
My work background is in social research and strategy development within the policing sector, and I care deeply about evidence-based practice. I was a Samaritans listening volunteer for over 10 years and am passionate about emotional well-being and the crucial role that schools play in supporting children’s emotional health.
I hope to bring both my work and volunteer experience to the role of Parent Governor at St George’s and very much welcome the opportunity to contribute to the school community.
