Welcome to Early Years
Friday 3rd July 2020
Dear Early Years Families,
It seems hard to believe that it is already July! This week the children have continued learning about minibeasts, focusing on caterpillars and butterflies. As always it has been lovely to see all of the wonderful home learning as we have seen creative caterpillars, children making up their own version of the story of the Hungry Caterpillar and representing the lifecycle of a butterfly in various ways.
Next week we will be concluding our topic on 'Minibeasts' as we focus on ladybirds. As always we hope the children enjoy the fun activities on offer. Once again we ask that children who are coming in to school ensure they complete the activities in sequence.
Don't forget our 30 days wild activities tie in very nicely with our current topic, so take a moment to scroll down our class page to find the next set of 30 day wild challenges!
As always, please do continue to send in observations to 2Simple and use our teacher email address firstname.lastname@example.org
Finally, we want to say a massive thank you to all the children and adults who made the St George's relay such a success. The amount of money raised is incredible! Scroll down our class page to see the video with a few highlights from the day.

This year all the classes in our school are named after inspirational people. In Early Years we have two classes, Attenborough Class and Potter Class. We have lots of fun learning together. Take a look at what we have been learning so far this year.
