Enterprising Infants

The children took part in ‘Apprentice style’ challenges as part of Enterprise Week at the school.

Designed to develop business skills, the children designed products , developed pricing and marketing strategies and worked on their customer service and sales skills in order to sell items made in school at the end of the week to their family and friends.

Mr Long, explained “ the children thought very hard about the sort of products their customers might want to purchase; a wide variety of trinkets were on offer from; themed key rings; bracelets and fridge magnets to book marks; herb gardens; coin banks and tea light holders were among the many goods for sale."

They used incredible creativity both in developing their marketing materials and in the ways they might attract customers to choose buy their gifts ahead of others.”
