Geography
Geography at St George’s encourages children to explore the world, beginning with their immediate environment in Amersham and expanding to global contexts. In EYFS, children notice and talk about their surroundings; in KS1, they develop locational knowledge, map skills and geographical vocabulary. Sustainability and stewardship are at the heart of geography, teaching children to care for creation and respect diversity across the world. Geography inspires awe, wonder and curiosity about the places where people live, grow and thrive.
