Art and Design
At St George’s, art inspires children to express themselves with imagination and confidence. In line with the EYFS framework and National Curriculum for KS1, children explore colour, texture, form and design through first-hand experiences. They learn about diverse artists and art forms, reflecting on their own and others’ work with respect and creativity. Through art, we nurture spirituality and self-expression, encouraging children to notice beauty in the world, celebrate cultural diversity and take pride in their own creations.
