Community Challenge Award
St George's Community Challenge Award
Through our School Vision 'Inspire, Believe, Achieve'-With God all things are possible Matthew 19 v26 we inspire our children develop a greater sense of responsibility across the community and empower them to understand the positive benefits they can make to their own lives and the lives of others.
Children are required to complete 7 different challenges linked to the following themes:
Get Active
Choose Water
Eat More Fruit and Veg
Switch Off Screens
Road Safety
The Environment
Citizenship
Children receive stickers as they complete each challenge and are awarded a Community Challenge certificate once they have completed all their tasks. We have a Platinum Award for those who go above and beyond the set challenges and independently choose to contribute in other beneficial ways which have a significant impact on the wider community. This award recognises children who intrinsically demonstration of our School Vision of Inspire, Believe, Achieve and our Core Christian Values, by bringing these to life.
