• Colour Run

  On Friday 10 th March we will be celebrating Holi with a colour run. We are using this as a fundraising
  opportunity to make a difference to both our school and the lives of others.

  The afternoon promises to be full of fun and colour! All children will be taking part in this whole school
  event, a wonderful time to come together as a school and do something meaningful for our community.

  

• Preschool

• Ukrainian fun day

• Year 2 talent show

  We were astounded by the level of talent from the Year 2's yesterday!

  Not even the hottest day could dry out their talent. We had a wide range of talents from, magicians, gymnasts, football skills, jokes, dancers and singers! Well done Year 2, you were all amazing!

  

• Mural

  this. Well done to all the children who helped too, it is fabulous, and demonstrates our school vision of Inspire, Believe, Achieve using the windows, mirrors and doors symbolism beautifully....and yes, it even has an actual door!

  

• Year 2 Restore Hope

  Year 2, had a fabulous day at Restore Hope on Friday. They completed lots of fun activities including playing water games, pond dipping, team games, minibeast hunting and fed the animals. This is such a lovely trip, where all our children and staff can spend quality time together, enjoying each other’s company whilst making wonderful memories to last a lifetime.

  

• Year 1 Seaside WOW day

  On Friday the children in year 1 had the seaside come to them. They had fun building sandcastles, paddling their feet, riding the donkeys around our school field along with many more activities. Have a look at the photos to see what fun they had. Thank you PTA.

  

• Summer Fun Run

  Summer Fun and Run - 9 July

  Come along to St. George's PTA Summer 'Fun and Run' on Saturday 9th July, our first chance since 2019 for a summer gathering and lots of fun! As well as the fun run, there will be a BBQ, bar, welly wanging, cake sale, GIANT inflatable, beat the goalie, sweet stall, tattoos, creative station, tombola, and a raffle. 

   

  As always, we would be grateful for any support on the day, either setting up, running one of the stalls, or clearing up. Please check the sign-up list and book your slot. If you're able to help on more than one stall, or book a longer slot, then we would be most grateful.

  

• Enterprise Day

  The children have really enjoyed enterprise week, and have had some great opportunities creating their products to sell to the rest of the school. Thank you for supporting the children with this venture. 

  

• Platinum Jubilee Celebration

  The children enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea on the last day of term to celebrate her majesty the Queens Platinum Jubilee. They also sang the national anthem which they learnt throughout the week.   Here are a few photos of the event.
