After being cancelled twice due to bad weather the Colour Run 2023 took place on the Friday 26th of May. The children and staff had a great time, the children loved being sprayed with colour as they ran around the field collecting their ticks for each lap they completed. Have a look at the photos of the children and staff enjoying the fun. A big THANK YOU goes out to Stephanie Walsh Photography for the amazing photos.
Thank you to all who supported our Book Fair, we earned £484.88 of new books for our school!
A big THANK YOU to St George's church and King's church for giving the children the Easter experience. The children enjoyed learning about the Easter story.
We were delighted to see so many super Easter bonnets, crosses, eggs and gardens. Very well done to all the children who worked so hard to make these wonderful Easter creations.
The book fair is coming to our school very soon. It’s the perfect opportunity for you and your child to explore a treasure trove of books… and get wrapped up in reading!
More details to come ...
The children had lots of fun taking part in the 'Reading Anywhere Challenge' during half term. Take a look at the unusual places the children have found to read. We love reading at St George's!
